SANANWAN PALACE, A BANGKOK AIRPORT HOTEL
The Sananwan Palace hotel is next to the new airport in Bangkok. It is 20 minutes away from the new Suvarnabhumi International Airport
Wilaiwan and her sons at Sananwan Palace offer Airport Transfers to their Guesthouse guests. This service has been added because there has been so much confusion for some people, upon arrival at the New Suvarnabhumi Bangkok International Airport.If you choose to make use of this service, a driver will be there to meet and greet you upon arrival at the airport, and to guide you to a comfortable private vehicle, whisking you away safely and quickly to your chosen destination. This service is available 24 hours a day, provided sufficient notice is provided. Wherever possible, it will be one of the family who will meet you.
Cost of the Service
500 Thai Baht for 1 or 4 passengers.
If you wish to be picked up by an affiliate metered taxi, please let us know, its 500 baht for a pick up and drop off at the airport (thats a round trip cost, Ex: pick up 300 baht & drop off for 200 baht).
Designated Meeting Area
Because there can be no certainty about which exit gate you will
emerge into the Arrivals area we have a specially designated
MEETING AREA for guests of SANANWAN PALACE.
After you collect your luggage, there are 3 exits:
Door A -
Domestic
Door B - International
Door C - International
For international passengers we do not know from which door you will exit as it may be B or C. Both these exit areas may be very busy as passengers arrive.
We meet in front of the rotating glass door #2 inside the building, please see the map below

We have selected this as
a more convenient meeting point. It is between a book/newspaper
stall and the less obvious AOT Information Counter.
Your driver, usually it will be either
Mr.Bank or Mr.Bird, will be near door #3 with a sign with
“Your Name” on it.
You may wish to print
these directions and keep close to your passport for your
arrival.

Cost of Service
Usually 300 Thai Baht for 1 or 2 persons,
plus 100 Baht extra for each additional person.
A night time loading may be added for late night or early
morning departures between 23:00 and 05:00.
Note: SANANWAN PALACE is only about 6 kms from the end of the airport runway in a direct line, however the route via road is about 18km because of the extensive internal airport road system. Under normal traffic conditions this take about 20 minutes, but can be longer during peak hour traffic.
